I’m honored to be selected by the membership as CAA’s Artist of the Month for my collage “Monhegan Light.” This lighthouse stands proudly on Monhegan Island, a short boat ride from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The island is home to many artists (Jamie Wyeth!), galleries, woodland trails, fairy houses, beaches, spectacular rocky views, and even a brewery!

I'll be presenting my book STEADFAST on Frances Perkins to 200 children in grades 3, 4, and 5, and doing a collage craft with them as well. It's such a pleasure to bring the work of an important American trailblazer to a new, young audience!
Join me at the 60th Annual Art-in-the-Park at Van Saun Park, Paramus, NJ for a FREE outdoor art exhibit and concert, showcasing over 100 Bergen County artists! I will be there with my original collage art, prints, and children’s books, too. Please stop by and say hello! Raindate: Sunday, Oct. 20th.

The Community Arts Association’s Annual Members’ Show is coming to the Clifton Arts Center, Clifton, NJ! “Artists’ Perspectives” will be on view from May 8th - June 29th with a Meet-and-Greet on May 18th from 1-4 p.m. While I can’t be at this opening, I have art in this dynamic show! Each year, the AWC raises money for important local charities. This year, it’s Fashions for Families, dedicated to helping families in need. Once again, I’m happy to support their efforts with an art print that will be auctioned off in a special basket at this exciting event!
