hi, I’m Jenn!

I’m an artist, illustrator, and picture-book writer/illustrator. I divide my time between New Jersey and beautiful mid-coast Maine.

My collages are handcrafted from textured papers, fabrics, and trimmings. Painting and drawing figure in my work and I like to mix media to achieve visual goals.

You can find me at art fairs and art shows, most recently on the coast of Maine and in Bergen County, N.J. Please see my Events page for details.

I enjoy doing book signings and offer presentations to all ages on several picture-book topics .

My education includes an MFA in Illustration, 2014; an MA in Art Education; a BA in Studio Art and Elementary Ed; and many Continuing Ed courses and workshops.

I’m a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI); Scribble (SCBWI’s Rockland/Bergen Affiliate); co-founder of Springboard Artists; and member of Community Arts Association, Allendale, NJ (former Board Member and Web Coordinator.)
